    Great Exhaust for the Price

Posted by Timothy Burns on Mar 11th 2025

2010 Toyota Tundra - 4.6 L. The exhaust kit came complete with all of the items listed. I need to mention a couple of issues with the installation for future fabrication of the product. 1) The rear hangers behind the muffler were not accurately positioned and off by a couple of inches (maybe consider using clamp-on hangers for them all). The extra hanger for the new tailpipe had to be installed in a different spot than where the existing hole is and a new hole had to be drilled. This also changed the hanger's position vertically, which made the horizontal section the same height as the section welded to the pipe. The provided rubber bushing was useless as there was no spacing between the two horizontal parts of each hanger. I had to temporarily use a stainless clamp to hold them together and will get them corrected by getting them cut and welded to the correct dimensions. 2) The muffler piping ends and tips didn't have grooves cut in them to allow proper clamping. I am assuming the muffler was sent out without grooves cut into the inlets and outlets to avoid voiding the warranty and ideally should be welded to the pipes. There was the same issue with the tips and both had to have grooves cut to allow for a proper clamp seal. Overall, it took about 7 hours to install. Other than that the exhaust works and sounds phenomenal!
